Making a Snowman....pup-shionista style.

It's been snowing lately and the garden is filling up... so I thought I should spend some time making a snowman.....

Gotta make sure the back is not overly layered with ice... It might look like a hunchback. At the same time I want my snowy to have a J.Lo butt....

It's a bit tilting.... I think it's going to fall on me....

Need something to do the finishing touches.....

Voila! my very own snowman...

The Poor Puppy Look

Today I have been playing in the rain and muddy garden with my friend Ben the Border Collie. Since I got into this state I thought maybe I could start doing a portfolio for the RSPCA adverts (i.e. pup rescued and needs a good home or give £2 a month advert).... NOTE: I was in no way harmed during this photoshoot, in fact I got a biscuit that is why I am in my "good girl" pose. .. Please, can I have some more?

Trick or Treat...

Tonight I went trick or treating with the kids. So exhausting knocking from one door to another, or rather scratching my paws from one door to the other. Then filled our (their) bags with sweets, crisps, and some money. Sadly no dog biscuits for me. Bumped into another pup dressed as a devil. Some houses switch their lights off as soon as they hear us knocking, but some are beautifully decorated with lighted pumpkins, cobwebs and spiders, skeletons and rats too (fake ones). I really enjoyed it.

In Search of a BFF....

Here I am thinking what life is gonna be like if I have that special BFF like Paris Hilton, but not really for television purposes only. It would be nice if we can hang around all the time - walks in the park, sit in coffee shops and take the mickey out of passers by..hmmmm

My owner is too busy now designing accessories and attending fashion shows so we get less time together. She gives me the best cuddles in the world...the biscuits too. But I need someone who can stroke me while watching MTV or E! Daily 10 or maybe The Dog Whisperer.

My search will go on and I will not stop.....have to catch a bus now...

My First Modelling Contract

This is my first modelling stint - posing for a postcard! lol. I love it. I looked like I am going to run away with my IT Bag and pretty pink dress. The dress is just soo right - soft and comfy and very stylish too. It says "Princess" at the back - just as I am. :))

My First Photoshoot

I was about 6 months old when this was taken. It was my first photoshoot to prepare me for modelling petwear. At first I got scared with the flash of the camera but now I am used to it and my owner (aka manager or agent) disables the flash for me too.
I love photos but I am very claustrophobic so I don't like photocubes. I prefer outdoor shoots in different locations. I love going out so everytime I hear the sound of a pup lead, I prepare myself for another day out.
I have already modelled a santa pupshionista suit last christmas that went flying off the shelves in a Christmas Fair in Essex. I also wore a navy hoody and a pink polka dot dress. The hoody went ok but the pink polka dot did not. I guess other owners are not too confident too dress up their pups. And I guess it also reflects their sense of fashion - lol, dare not say!

Chapter Two - My New Friend

This is my new friend Elizabeth. She loves me so much - she cuddles me so tight it strangles me. She is such a sweet and pretty girl. I really get along with pretty girls you see.

I spent a sleepover weekend at Elizabeth's house in Wales.

We played in the garden. She took out her little tykes playground and bouncy castle! Lol, as if. Luckily she didn't throw me in the bouncy castle - not because I am scared but I am concerned my nails are too long I might rip and deflate it.

Then the family took me in the park. Elizabeth's mum tied my lead wrongly so I managed to escape and run around the park. It was a very nice sunny day, I enjoyed it very much.

We also had a picnic in their garden. Elizabeth fed me with my dog biscuits and forced me to drink strawberry juice - which turned out to be nice and sweet to the taste.

The weekend away was very exhausting. After the two and a half train ride from Cardiff to London, we had to take buses because the London Underground suspended some of its services (as usual). I feel sorry for the tourists, apart from being ripped off by souvenir shops, they also struggle to commute around.

I got home very late at night very tired but happy to find a new friend - Elizabeth.

Chapter One - Journey Starts

My journey starts in a bus. Yes, I take the red double decker bus. Firstly, pups like me are not granted a driving license in the UK, secondly, parking is so difficult and expensive in London and thirdly, I do my share for the environment. I know the Sloane Rangers will disagree but hey, this is the City of London and it's okay to take a bus! The red bus is one of London's popular trademark so if you are a London Pupshionista (or a tourist), the red bus is a great way to get around the city.

Some grumpy drivers ask me to go upstairs for some reason, but others are cool and let me get my own seat by the window on the lower level to get a clear view of London and the walking fashionistas on the road. In this picture, I am on my way to Tower Hill where the famous Tower of London and the great Tower Bridge are. If you want a sneak preview of the Queen's lovely BLING and know how most things started in England, get inside the Tower of London. I will take you there shortly. Tip: I am on Bus No. 15 that passes through Oxford Street, Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral and Tower Hill all the way to Blackwall. A nice cheap bus to get to the famous spots.

By the way, I forgot to introduce myself (silly me!). My name is Kichi, it means good luck or lucky in Japanese - for some reason. Many dog owners name us "lucky" in different languages thinking we are going to bring them luck. Well, I can only say, Good Luck to them because I do not really believe in these things. For me, success and happiness is made by you not the people (or the dogs) around you.

Now for some drama.....

I was born in South London (to my knowledge) in an Indian family household, and because my first owner's child had allergies to my fur (they said), they had to move me to Essex to their relative who owns a pair of Pomeranians. Sadly, the other Pom is soo jealous of me (because I am prettier than her), the owners opted to sell me on the Internet.

Luckily, a few days later I found a new home. I moved in a house with another dog, a twelve year old Border Collie - Ben. A nice big garden and my own pup house with a little veranda for me to relax when the sun is out.

Moving from one home to another was a very traumatic experience for me. It always felt I was unwanted. Everytime my owners take me to their car, I always fear they will deliver me to a new owner. But actually they were just taking me to the vets or shopping with them. I was so paranoid.

But now I am beginning to like travelling here and there and been to many places and done some sleepovers too so this is where the adventure starts........
